We're doing a workshop in June ... is there any chance that we'll be able to demo this for our attendees?
If not, I understand ... it's just one of those "would be nice" sort of things.

Sorry, but i don't think so. If you're an educator though, they sometimes give special privileges to educators. Try asking on ScratchEd.

I found a bug:
When viewing 1.4 projects in the project editor, you cannot see comments. Instead, an obsolete block,
scratchCommentshows up

That's because comments haven't been implemented yet.

I LOVE the motion sensing system, you could make some neat fighting games with that! ( use motion sensing on different parts of a sprite to move them) that will fully immerse you in the game, and it was executed very well.

Really!

I love motion sensing! I just wish you could flip the screen because it's hard to control when it's not mirrored

paddle2see, I think the new prototype is great! The camera is a little bit sketchy on my laptop though.

Nice work! I really like how you added a video screen and a motion detector. I like the ballon popping game. I cant wait to download scratch 2.0 it looks super fun and maybe a bit harder but I thought it could use more scripts, and the paint editor looks a lot more improved! I can't wait, maybe you can add a section on the front page including projects with rarely any views so their projects could be seen, and possibly an effect that smears, like it would be like a mark made by watery paint! But either way I love scratch 2.0!

There is a way to do that....
In the Looks category for the Stage, there is a new block that says "turn video [pull-down menu]". The drop-down menu includes options both for "on" and "on-flipped" (mirrored).
I hope that's helpful.

It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.

I congratulate, what words..., a magnificent idea

I don't need to download projects!

Awesome, I build Operating Systems on scratch and Scratch 2.0 will change every thing that I have done to my OS's and any other project I create.

This is almost too good to be true.

Will the way of posting projects change to only posting them useing Scratch online, or will it just stay the same: Posting them using the downloaded Scratch program?

Last day of the prototype being available... Hey scratch, i noticed it's possible to click "save page as" (on firefox anyway) on the 2.0, couldn't someone just save the page then go back when the link is gone? Or would they be stopped by the authorization like before?

NO!IT'S THE LAST DAY! THIS IS WAY TO COOL TO GIVE UP!
