It'll be done by the end of this year. Christmas 2012, I'm sending this to her Facebook page. She has a Minecraft account. (She's a real person, but this is her character. Kinda like Gorillaz)

I think, since the Nether has no boss, that it should have some kind of boss.
Here are SOME things I had in mind about bosses:

~ Nether Dragon ~
Abilities:
- Can fly at super high speeds,
- Can spit fireballs like ghasts, but they are stronger, faster, and can't be knocked back.
- If they touch anything it instantly gets lit on fire
(I guess that blocks out melee combat.    )
Drops:
1-3 Nether Crystals, 1-4 diamonds, A lot of XP

Or...

~ The King Blaze ~
Abilities:
- Has a crown on it's head, for detail. :3
- Hovers around faster than an ordinary blaze
- Fire Aura (If you walk near it, it lights you on fire)
- Can dodge REALLY good, 1/6 of a player's arrow strikes will actually hit it.
Drops:
1 to 3 diamonds, 1-4 blaze rods (    ), Drops a lot of XP

Hard bosses, but they drop good loot!

Oh, and I've got good ideas for new ITEMS too.

~ Nether Crystal - Found only in nether forts, or dropped from Nether Dragons. This crystal can be used to create armor, which can make you invincible towards fire and lava. They can also be used to create tools, stronger than diamond, but the durability of iron tools.

~ Quiver - Do arrows hog your inventory space? Well, not anymore with this handy item! You can store up to 27 stacks of arrows! Without hogging ANY inventory space! And, if in your inventory, and shows up on your character! (Only arrows can be placed into it, and other quivers cannot be put inside quivers, so there's no cheating inventory space.    )

~ Jetpack - Allows you to fly! But, the only problem is, fuel. You can either add coal, or lava buckets into the jetpack.

No crafting recipes yet. 
But, do you guys like these ideas so far?

It sounds cool, but in my opinion, the boss should be more original.  Maybe something resembling a Nazgul/Ringwraith (lol, wolvesstar's going to give this so much support if she reads this) that can turn [insert block here] into fairly weak mobs and has strong strength and health?  If it could go in the Nether, I'd say a weakness when exposed to water.
