CAN'T ANYONE SEE IT'S TRUE???I like that song.
Either way, I'm not really sure what to think of it, because of the not-working image editor and cloud varialbes.

I'm excited to use the cloud feature.
With the cloud feature, will you be able to save people's game data so that if they exit out of the Internet and come back on, they will be able to play from where they left off?

Guys, stop with the troll hating. What don't you get it's a [strong]PROTOTYPE[/strong]!!!

I love the prototype. The only thing i'd say that is bad, is how some people can publish creations with Scratch 2.0 and we only get to see not publish our own.
All id say is, PLEASE LET US LOG IN SCRATCH 2.0 SOON!

I think that next time you have something like this where you re-do the website and only a select few can log in, that you should make an "Everybody" account where people would be able to log in to the Everybody account and use cloud variables, and everything you need to log in to use. Then after the preview of the prototype is over, you can delete the Everybody account.

Just a question, when we remix other projects will we be able to find out where they came from. e.g. like in the current scratch program, it would say, remixed from (a user). Will it do that in the new version.
P.S. When is the expected time of Scratch 2.0 release date.
I'm pretty sure it will automatically give credits if you remixed a project. You can also add your own extra credits that are separate from the project's notes (for example if you used a particular song in your project).
There's no Scratch 2.0 release date, but we're hoping to release it sometime later this year.

It will take a long time to get accustomed to the HD scratch cat...it's kinda freaking me out right now. I can probably expect a lot of lag from beginners testing the cloning feature.

That could pose some problems though. What if different people claimed to make each others' projects? What if people deleted each others' projects? Wouldn't it look weird to have an account named "Everyone" replying to himself? Although people might be able to use cloud variables, it would cause a lot of problems.

Just asking, will we be able to switch back to the old Scratch layout if we don't like the new one, or are you forcing this one onto us? Because honestly, it's a bit overwhelming.
I think [you will have to download Scratch 2.0, but I'm not sure.] I agree [Scratch 2.0 is a bit confusing]

Wait...do the cloud variables update in real time? Because then we could probably figure out a way to make multiplayer games

When is the finished site going to be officially released?

Looks really cool! Cloud data will be so much easier than Mesh, and once I can define blocks I can say goodbye to lag and finally finish the raycaster that I gave up on after my computer crashed. I also really like the new site design, and the easy remixing.
