Only data before 26 January are in the prototype. New data is not transferred until 2.0 comes out.

You were supposed to be an event block? You meant "it". Anyway that is off topic. They are asking "What do you think of the Scratch 2.0 Prototype?" and not for block suggestions. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Im gonna have to agree. If there were more to do on there I wouild actually be on alot more, but it got pretty boring pretty quickly. I just want the real on the come out then it would be really fun.

Either way, I'm not really sure what to think of it, because of the not-working image editor and cloud varialbes.

- That's the correct behaviour - we aren't allowing logins right now

Under Sensing, there is a block that by default says this:

(video [motion] on [Stage])

The Stage menu can be changed to other sprites. When motion is selected from the first menu, the block will have a number (I think it's 0 - 100) that represents how much motion is on that particular sprite.
If you change the first menu to this:

(video [direction] on [Stage])

then the number will be the direction that the current motion is moving relative to the selected sprite (I am not quite sure, but that definition seems to work well enough).

How does everybody log in?

Great new stuff! Addresses some of my concerns with Scratch encouraging bad software engineering habits on complex projects, with cloning and proper subroutines. The vector graphics will really improve the appearance. Working on a web page has its advantages, too. Not having to install Scratch on machines in a lab is one. A disadvantage is that of any web application (vs. desktop): one can’t simply fiddle around in private without being observed.

I look forward to using this with my students!

Just a question, when we remix other projects will we be able to find out where they came from. e.g. like in the current scratch program, it would say, remixed from (a user). Will it do that in the new version.

P.S. When is the expected time of Scratch 2.0 release date.
