Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

When you maximize a project, it only fills the top half of the screen... and the scaling is off.

I'm using IE9 on Win7.

But interestingly it still works if you import an old project that was set up this way. So it's probably just an interface problem.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

On SDS galleries it only lists the SDS account as a curator, not us curators.

Is this just because it defaulted when the switch was made, or is this a bug?

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

Make a variable with just one character (as in, the name of the variable, not the value it holds), and the variable's display gets messed up.

Yes, when we release Scratch 2.0, you'll still be able to upload projects from the "old" Scratch 1.4 application program to the new website.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

My biggest concern is that it shows my location (and everyone else's location), even though it doesn't show it on the main site. I tried removing my location off the main site, didn't help.

Major bug: You can drag a reporter into Define <block>.
This produced a transparent block, which I put into a script. Running it crashed my browser.

That does kind of scare me that they've removed that privacy flag. My main account doesn't have my city though :J

And the main site wouldn't change it, the database is from January

Whenever I'm using IE on the normal Scratch website, the same thing happens to me too.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

My biggest concern is how well older Scratch projects will work on Scratch 2.0. A problem I experienced was that my platforming engines completely glitched when I played them. This problem never happened in Scratch 1.4, not even in Flash. I tried other color sensing projects, and they all worked fine. I really hope that these glitches aren't in the final version of Scratch 2.0, or then many of my current projects will become nearly unplayable!
