iTopics and bumping

How do you bump a topic and what is an iTopic?

You can bump a topic by posting the word 'bump', or any other text, on that topic.

An iTopic is a topic in the list of important and helpful topics given in certain forums.
They usually give useful information.

Bumping will bring your thread back up to the to of a forum, where it is more likely to be seen by others and posted on.
