When I saw that the Scratch Team was creating a program called Scratch Jr., that really got me thinking. I thought that that was a great idea, and how it would encourage young people to learn the basis of programming. So I have decided to create a program called AdvancedX. AdvancedX goal is to encourage older kids, who might have a more grasp on programming, to continue there lives programming. I am not the greatest guy at programming, but I have a little knowledge. I will not only create a whole new mod (program), but also create a much more advanced website. Features on the website would include:
RAB: Request a block. When you click this button, you can code your own block and put it into the website RAB Library, then people can download that block if they want to use it.
Go Mobile: The website will go mobile! When you are on a portable device, the website will automatically set it self to mobile.
File Cabinet: Have your own file! When you click this, you will come to a list that shows recently changed, or created files. A file has projects that you might want to view later. You can also access your file cabinet from your profile. You can chose to make you file cabinet public or not.
HTML Viewer: View everything in HTML! You can edit the code, but that won't edit everybody's else's computer, only yours.
Then on the Mod part, it would look like a regular mod, just a few more blocks. I am kind of thinking of have the logo like Scratch Jr. and Scratch 2.0. It would be on a white background with the words:
AdvancedX
And have blue under the X part.
So, who wants to join me.
Thanks!

I might help out. You can't call it advanced scratch or anything like that. Also, for the mod part, my suggestion is that you can change between text based coding (like scratch blocks coding on the forums), and normal coding. Scripts stay the same (just in the other format) when you swap.

Do you have any ideas on what I could call it. I could call it:
AdvancedX - For Advanced Users

I would love to test. I'm not a too advanced programmer (yet), but if you show me coding, I may be able to learn somewhat quickly.
