I suppose in theory, yes, but I've never seen it happen.

I don't think the ST would be comfortable with that. Giving curator permissions to one person is OK, but to several people at once... i just don't see it happening.

If it's just one person, I don't see why not.

Well then, what would be the difference than that user applying on their own?

An interesting question! We're having a discussion about it at the moment. Please be patient

Well, currently we're thinking that it's not a good idea. When we pick somebody for Curator duties, there is some training involved and we need to be sure they understand the responsibilities of the position. With a group of people, all using one account, we could never be sure who we were actually talking to and who actually doing the work so accountability is lacking.

Paddle, just to clarify, he said it would be only one person controlling the account.

I meant 1 person controlling the account, and other people in the collaboration give suggestions for the person to curate, and the people in the collaboration give parts of the application.

I think the user doing the actual curating could have a better chance of being chosen if they used their regular account. It would better show who they actually are, and put the Team's mind at ease about having multiple people on it.
And i suppose other users could help them with their speech.

Um, no, in the thread in Announcements.

OK, Paddle2See, (or should I call you Paddle?)
I don't think he minds either way.
