I would love to be a curator on the Scratch homepage.

I would curate projects that range from a few hours old to a few weeks old, but I will mostly curate the newer projects of less-known Scratchers. I am a particular fan of puzzle games, platformers, but I also like many projects that are not games.

I wouldn't curate projects from very well-known Scratchers, because that isn't the purpose. One, they'll get tons of views and comments anyway, and two, there'll probably end up on the front page for most viewed or most loved.

I would add a new project about 3-5 times a week and I would accept requests but they'd have to follow guidelines, such as being appropriate, having a certain number of views/love its or less, and certain facts about the scratcher (not being frontpaged recently, for example).

Please consider letting me take on this role as it would be a fun and learning experience. Thanks!

Hello, I am ProgrammingPro01, as you probably know.

I have been on Scratch since November 2011, and since I've been on, I've always wanted to achieve one of my long term goals - to be a Scratch Curator.

If I were to be accepted as a curator, I would pick a wide variety of projects:
Games, animations, stories, RPG's, MV's, and anything else you can imagine.

I would also most likely try to pick projects that didn't get a chance to be viewed.

Please take me in consideration. smile

I have always wanted to become a curator, but last time i applied i was not a very experienced or outgoing scratcher. After bieng here for almost 3 years i think i would be an average (Or above average! big_smile ) curator. I would choose the most diverse but well rounded projects to curate. Especially ones that fit with the current (Holidays, Special Events, etc.). Dont worry, i wont curate my own projects. xD. Thank you for reading!

I would like to be a curator. I have been Scratching for 3 years, and recently got an account. It would be great to have the privilege of selecting projects to show on the front page. My scratch interests are Scrolling and 3D projects. an example of 3D would be: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/keithbk/2530984
A scrolling example would be http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/r2dav2/2537552. I think that the first example would be a good one for the front page, because it is fairly new, and not by a famous Scratcher. The scrolling one I would not choose, but it makes a good example of Scrolling.

My main interests are in art projects.

I have seen loads of cool projects by unknown scratchers with an average of 3 views a project, and they are amazing!

Hello!
I would love to be a curator. I really like other people's work and try to make my own too! I've been starting to use Java but not that much, Scratch is better. smile I like games where you can interact with other people, like Minecraft. I know in Scratch 2.0, some basic networking is being released. I am also your guy to come to for reporting a game idea. My other account is pss2. It has all my projects. A lot of my good ones I don't put up because I'm afraid others will steal my work. yikes Im sorry for the long application, it comes naturally. smile

Good idea. I would become one, but I would much rather be scratching then trying to find not well-known projects that fit into my catagory, plus I have favourites that don't fit in the catagory. tongue
