I saw that some people were able to edit their profile pages.  Maybe they were testers.  for example, illusionist

This project from RHY http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/projects/7 … ode=player cannot be looked inside. The flash player (11.2.203.35) crashes on my PC (Windows 7 pro, Firefox 12, 8GB of ram)

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

I have a few questions about 2.0:

1) Will the new site replace the old site, or will they be separate?
2) Will all account data be transfered to the new site?

Ok thanks  smile

Another question;

Will Scratch 2.0 allow multiple windows of the program to be open at once? As of now, I have to save and quit of of Scratch to refer to my test projects.

You can just open multiple tabs on your browser with the Flash file in it. And I think you can open multiple versions of 1.4 open as well  hmm

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

(Above) Awww lucky!

A glitch I found, if the window is not selected or your on a separate tab, the clone block will work but not the delete clone block.  yikes !!!!
It might only be in the editor.

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

So anyone who was even a mod once has access to that? What about the mod forums?

There will be a downloadable version. Let me see if I can find a link that confirms that...
EDIT: Couldn't find one, but you could check the wiki for references.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

Another concern:

I'm finding the flash player you're using on the alpha site to be much slower than the flash beta player you're using on the main site.

When playing http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/projects/1897019/ I have a green block that is supposed to always be under the mouse.  On the normal site this is no problem at all.  On the alpha site the block is so slow that you have to hold still and wait for the block to catch up.

And, this is with TURBO mode ON!

think [Oh cool! I've never used scratch blocks in a post before!]

Re: Scratch 2.0 Prototype: Biggest Concerns

When a variable is showing and you try to hide it by unchecking the box next to

(Variable1)
under Data, it doesn't do anything.
