I have been working on a project for a while, and I saved it in the section "games" when you click on the button called "open". It was working fine: I would go on Scratch, work on my project, and when I would be finished I would save it. But today,I went on Scratch to work on my project, and it wasn't there. I looked in all of the documents on "open", and I couldn't find it anyhwhere!
Do you know why this happened?

Re: deleted

Did you download a different version of scratch since you saved it last, because that would delete everything in that folder.

For example, if you had Scratch V1.2 and you saved it in that folder, and then downloaded Scratch V1.3, the new version of scratch would have re-write that folder and deleted the project.

Re: deleted

That issue with new versions of Scratch deleting projects was fixed a while back.  But the question remains...did you load a new version of Scratch?

Are all your projects gone or just the one?

Possibly it got dragged into another folder (from outside of Scratch)?  You can try searching for all files ending in .sb (those are Scratch projects) on your hard drive - maybe it's hiding somewhere.

Re: deleted

If you want, go to the start menu, press "search", and search "*.sb" for all files and folders. It will find every Scratch file on your hard drive.
