Yes, all of your projects should go to 2.0.

PROS: The online project-creator/project-editor. The backpack tool is nice, but I feel that it could be greatly improved or replaced with something better.
CONS: What I found very displeasing was the inability to log in, and therefore I was not able to experiment with the cloud variables. I also noticed that many things - like the new paint editor - that we saw in the preview video are not currently available. Another annoying issue with not being able to log in, is that we can not experiment with the new "follow" button on galleries. The final drawback to the current Scratch 2.0 prototype is it's extreme limitations for the creation of a new block. I can't make a boolean or a reporter; we need to have this! I find it also necessary to have a second "[clone startup]" hat block:
{clone [clone 2 v] startup} //This is a "Control" hat blockThis block is essential to making a sprite that has varied behaviors based on the number of clones it has made. This other approach would also work however:
{number of clones} //This is a "Control" reporter blockand
{[number of clones v] of [Sprite1 v]} //This the "Sensing" ([data type v] of [Sprite]) reporter blockOne of these two options is a must have for projects with advanced cloning.

Stupid question: It's not all gonna be online like this, right? That would stink.

It is very good. I like the layout of the website. Can''t wait for the real release in a couple months! :

So about the vector graphics...
Will my old custom sprites become vector-fied-alized?
And will the tools in the paint editor be similar, like the old brush, or all weird like that curve tool you have to use in adobe illustrator?
Offline
Oh my gosh it's amazing! It's so easy to remix other people's projects, see how they programmed, share projects easier, and lots more! I can't wait until it comes out.
What is sort of disappointing with the prototype is that you can't log in and try these things for yourself. Oh, well. I guess we'll just have to wait for the real version to come.

you should send this editor to be the experimental version

I have a few things:
1. On what I can see of the paint editor, it doesn't look like there is a way to change the center point of a sprite, but I'm not sure since it is not available.
2. I thing the "clone startup" block should be in the "events" group.
3. Will the paint editor be usable by the 21st?
4. If a variable is visibleon stage, un-checking it in the list of variables won't make it go away (It does work with lists though)
5. Lists are not deletable
6. If you click the "i" by a sprite and then double-click on a sprite on the stage, the name of the sprite, wheather the sprite's direction is locked or not, and wheather or not the sprite is locked on stage don't update

On the chat projects, I cant see replies. I checked out the code, and it seems fine. Is that a cloud variable problem?
Ahem.

But i have 1 question about the new scratch... how do you make a variable stored on the website, like the chat room and the servey on the video? if someone could tell me how that would be great :3
