Can't import music from itunes

I try to save a song on itunes and open it on scratch. But When I go into the folder I saved the song in, the folder is blank. The only way I can use music in my projects is to download a project that has the song I want, save it, and open that song to use on my project.

Re: Can't import music from itunes

What format is the music in? Are you going to the folder with Windows Explorer? If you aren't, try going to it that way and if it's there try drag and dropping it into Scratch.

Re: Can't import music from itunes

iTunes downloads music as .m4a. Simply right click the song you want and select "create MP3" or something along those lines.

Re: Can't import music from itunes

K. This is how I do it.

1: Open Itunes (obviously)

2: I Right-Click the song

3: It should come up with "Convert to MP3" or "Convert to WAV". Those formats seem to work in Scratch.

4: IF NOT, go to edit then preferences. Select general and click import settings. There you can change it to an MP3 or WAV encoder.

5: It should work now, right click the song and it should say "Convert to MP3" or "Convert to WAV". Select it and wait for it to convert.

6: I usually drag the new music file onto the desktop and find it through Scratch.

Hope this helps!
