Yeah, I have the latest version. Unforunately that doesn't make my computer any better, and getting a better one isn't an option

When maximizing the browser window, the editor does not take up the entire screen.  Half of my screen is simply white and not being utilized.  I was hoping to have a larger block editor area.  (I'm using IE9 on Windows 7, if that helps.)

The block editor is reeeeaaaaalllllyyyyy slow.  I couldn't develop using this.

Comment blocks are not displayed properly.

The text inside of display variables is cut off at the bottom.

Save in flash format is missing. (This is the ONLY feature that would keep me from jumping over to Styncl.)

I like the backpack.  It seemed to work well.

Try reloading to expand the scripts area.

Re: What do you think of the Scratch 2.0 Prototype?

Nice prototype. Great work, Scratch Team!

Just two little questions:

-Will we be able to use the right button of the mouse and the scroller in the editor in the full release? That would really help.

-Will you add the neigh pony to the sample sprites?

Re: What do you think of the Scratch 2.0 Prototype?

Also, change the message that comes up when the project can't be found. Because on projects that were deleted by the scratcher who made them, it says 'This project has been removed because multiple scratch members considered it inappropriate for the scratch community.'

Re: What do you think of the Scratch 2.0 Prototype?

I'm loving the new features, it's just the new look. I'm not really liking it. The sprite vector graphics look way cooler, but the blocks really put me off. It sort of looks like a childs version of Scratch despite being almost the same as 1.4. It's okay I guess but not entirely impressed. The website looks amazing though. I love the new website, it looks so fresh, however I do have to say it does look really cluttered. I very sorry if any of my comments on 2.0 offends anybody but these are my actual thoughts on it. Thankyou Scratch Team.

Re: What do you think of the Scratch 2.0 Prototype?

I was hoping they'd let us test out the actual editing parts of Scratch 2.0 so I was a little disappointed when I went the the alpha page. I am still very excited and I hope that the final product works as y'all intend!

Could you also tell me which version of IE you're using?

Thanks for your help in resolving the issue!

Im using IE8.Does it only work with IE9?

Nope! It should work with IE8 - I'll do a little testing over here.

I verified that projects *should* be loading and you *should* be able to see inside in IE8. Here are a few suggestions/ workarounds to get you playing with the site quickly:

1. If you don't have the latest flash player - update it and restart your browser
2. We haven't done extensive testing in IE yet so things work best in Chrome or FF - if you can, using one of those browsers would give you a better experience during this alpha stage. Of course, for the official launch we'll have it working much better in IE.
