It messes up and adds a comma after the user's join date and before their country if they don't have a city entered, like on here.

Just please make a downloadable version!!

There should be a feature for multi-player, so people can make competitive type games!
Other than that I think it is awesome, the webcam feature is great!

Will there be allowed input boxes like in BYOB when you create a block? Like being able to create a
point at x: [0] y: [0]block? Right now I don't see any way to do that...

They are, I think.

I did:
define [amazing block]
repeat 100
create clone of sprite 1
go to x: (pick random -240 to 240) y: (pick random -180 to 180)
end repeat

My [amazing block] got out of control.
It needs a [delete all clones] block.

After you make a block, Shift+Click on the define block, and you will get options for adding inputs/parameters.

ohh coo
p.s. i know this sounds like a lie to get 2.0 better and faster but it is not i swear it 100% honest.
a few people from MIT came to my school advertising a science academy. Because they were from MIT my first thought was Scratch one of them was a student at MIT still and she (because she met people from the life long Kindergarten group) thought they would love to talk to me i contacted them and they enjoyed our little email convos (i think), but she also thought i would be a great candidate to test 2.0 saying
"You know, I've been to the life long Kindergarten group, I think you should get in contact with them i bet they would love to here your stories."
her second quote (the one that you might care about) was after i mentioned the development of Scratch2.0
"I bet that if you asked they would let you be a beta tester for Scratch"
I have her email and she agreed that she would go to the Mit Media Lab and recomend that i Beta test Scratch2.0
It would mean a lot to me to be able to help the Scratch team Develop Scratch2.0 and i know that i can do alot right now with the prototype. However i know that if i had more than 5 days i could do alot more to Find bugs, suggest ideas, and help develop Scratch2.0.
If you could, plz help me convince the Scratch team to let me do this.
thank you

The backpack is still under development. Right now, it should work for individual costumes, sounds, and scripts but not for sprites. When Scratch 2.0 is released, it will also work for sprites.
CORRECTION: It does work for sprites, but you need to drag the sprite *thumbnail* from the library into the backpack.
Temporary restriction: it doesn't work with costumes and sounds from older projects or with costumes and sounds that you recorded or imported yourself. In the release version, it will work with everything.

This new Interface is Excellent. The Collaberative envoirment is superb.
For Kids this should become their new social networking website where they exchange creative ideas.
Like many of the new options
The creation of your own blocks is a great idea. This can be very useful. Instead of writing the same program again and again , we can invoke this customized block.
The idea of having Scratch available online and seeing the blocks involved in creating the project is very useful. No need to go back and forth between the offline and online modes.
Very excited to see Scratch 2.0.
will explore further.
THanks a Bunch
