I was on the scratch website for a while when I decided to work on a project, so I opened up the program and all my projects were gone! I don't know what to do! Can you guys please help me? Please, I'll love all your projects, well some if you have a lot, and I'll add you to my list of friends, and give you a personal thanks in my next game. I really don't want to lose all my work! I was halfway done a game I had been working on for a while! Please! I need your help, so if you know anything, please help me. sad

Well they may have been moved to a different folder on your computer, or accidentally deleted. If they were moved, then they should still be in your computer somewhere, you'll just have to look around. If they were accidentally deleted, check the recycle bin, they may still be there. If you can't find it ANYWHERE, then come to the website and download all your projects you want on your computer, but the stuff that was never published may be gone for good. hmm I'm sorry if that's the case. sad

If you can remember the exact filename of one or more of the projects, you could try searching your computer. I can't think of a reason that only files from a particular folder would be affected. You may have just accidentally moved the folder containing your Scratch projects somewhere else without knowing it (accidental mouse clicks).

Where did you last save your projects?
Try searching your files.

That kind of reward is frowned on by the Scratch Community. Instead of love-its, advertise their projects as an alternative.

Like what trinary said, search all your hard Drives and Trash to find it.

okay. Forget what I said about loving your projects. I'll advertise you instead, I just put I'd love your projects because I was in a panic freak mode, and I wasreally mad.

Hey guys thanks for all your help, but I checked my computer today to find out joyfully that all my projects are back in the right spots. I think it must have just been a flukey thing, my computer's really old, but thank you so so so so so so so much for all the help you've given me, and I tried all of your suggestions. I wouldn't have been able to pull through without all your help, again thank you ALL so much! Your help has been greatly appreciated by me, and again, thank you! wink
