New Features Include:
Better interface
Ask a question block
New string features
Webcam capture
The first thing I will upload is maybe an escape game that uses the new ask and string commands. What will do make first?

That sounds interesting.

Honestly BoltBait - the fact that you did it with 1.3 impresses me alot.
First thing I will do - download it (rimshot)
Most likly I will print out the manual and read it through. Project wise I want to create an educational game where to drive over letters to spells words to help my sons spells skills, should be easy under 1.4

Yeah, with the new blocks it should be a breeze. The fact that you made a hangman game with such a lack of blocks is pretty impressive.

I want to try multiplayer, but it seems complicated. What do you mean by new string features?
Strings are word variables. What I mean is that you can do new things with text.
As for multiplayer, its an experimental hidden feature. Its not that hard to use but it is very limited. The mesh feature functions the same way as chalkmarrow's snyft program.

But nothing in scratch is called what it should be
Arrays are lists
Commands are blocks
loops are repeats
You get the idea

That's true. Maybe if they ever make that Scratch Pro thing some people have asked for, they'll call things what they're supposed to be called. It's to help people get used to the language more easily.
I never really noticed that before, except the array thing.

I actually hope they don't make a pro version because it defeats the point of scratch. If you want a "PRO" language then play coding java applets or if that is too hard then try greenfoot.

But making a Scratch Pro would advance users to a slightly more advanced level, though still pretty easy, to better prepare them for "real" programming languages.

I'll probably take advantage of the "ask a question" block and toy around with that webcam capture.

Okay, do you get more undos?
I hope so. Just one gets pretty unuseful. Especially when you make a huge mistake.
I meant the invisible ones. *DETECTED* Yea I mean sprites can still be invisible right?
I know, but I hate it when you delete the whole program even when just one sprite is invisible by accident! Then that undo button comes in handy!

A improved typing system using the (Join [] and []) block.
Or even easier - A typing system using the [ask []] block.

Can the online feature sense who is the host?
I think you are confused on how it works.
One person clicks "Host Mesh" the other person clicks "Connect to Mesh Server". Its not just like MESH ACTIVATE and everything else falls into place. I think that mesh is the hardest thing to use in scratch, that is why its hidden probaly.
