Scratch 2.0 certainly sounds exciting, it definitely is a new generation of Scratch. The cloud variables, and webcam interactivity, sound quite intriguing. I cannot wait to see Scratch 2.0 launch. Although, we may have to "re-learn" Scratch, as it has changed!

No, its not all fake and lies. I really have no idea why they would come out with a fake video. But what I did hear is that they indeed ARE cancelling the online part were you can customize your page, and maybe the clouds (NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    ) and the 'See Inside' function. I don't know how the 'kinect' part will work either, but that doesn't mean its fake......

What they showed was intended to be Scratch 2.0. The thing they're releasing in a week is Scratch 2.0 Alpha (not 2.0). Why would they fake some features? To get scratch publicity. Like a promo video that shows how something could work (instead of how it actually works). Maybe they'll get all of this stuff working, but probably not by Scratch Day

No lies, all the features in the video are real and you can test them out on May 17. Just don't expect everything to be glitch-free and perfect as everything is still a work in progress. ^^
