As if it matters whether you destroy stuff in minecraft. Its completely ridiculous. Its a game, created by a human being. To not destroy stuff in minecraft is to not play the game.

We are humans. We devour resources and destroy the environment. It's what we do.
I know this is going to sound horribly selfish so I'll say it anyways: did you ever consider those resources were there for us to devour? Sure, we should be better stewards of the environment and manage resources better, but many of these things would go unused if not for humans. It'd almost be a waste not to use the natural resources occuring underground.
I agree completely. I once tried to talk about this to some people but I got attacked by hate as people shouted how this was further evidence how horrible humans are.

Exactly. I'm not sure why it is, but it seems like humans have a tendency to try as hard as they can to hate themselves.

Force update on MC and then see if it keeps doing that.Even better, delete minecraft.jar. Minecraft will redownload it for you.
No, it's not the same as deleting system32.
It's probably because the terrain.png is the wrong size, has been resized, or it is slightly off-centre.Force update is the same as getting a new minecraft.jar, whenever I delete minecraft.jar and start up it just crashes anyway.
I already did both a number of times. I even tried making my own texture pack to see if it was a terrain.png thing, but it must be somethig with java, because all of the Java games are doing something like this!

Hi, this seems like the right thread to ask something. I'm trying to make a server, but I already port forwarded and it still won't work! It keeps saying "is a server already running in that port?" And I know like 14 servers with that port. WHY won't it work?

It has to do with your computers ports. Try restarting your computer and if that doesn't work try a new port. What port are you using?

I know, it's like not killing anyone in GTA because you don't like killing.
There's no global warming in MC, so there's really no need to worry, and I very much doubt that anyone will cut down every single tree in the game and destroy the saplings.

Well, the thing with games like MC is that you can choose how to play them.

Wow, this post is like the best post on this whole topic. It's so true.
I play as someone who doesn't kill anything that's not evil (unless I breed them, but I have a 'humane' way to do that, as in a sharpness 2 sword that insta-kills cows and pigs, sheep are for shearing only, and I free-range chickens for eggs ONLY)

My bred pigs and cows, or bread, and sometimes cake. I have a cake room, with a heavily guarded entrance. Creepers can't have my cake.

If you buy it you can go on the online servers, meaning it's all checked by the Mojang servers.

Dual server with normal playing and anarchy.
