I'm pretty sure that with Scratch 2.0 is released, the whole website will change to the new features. It might be down temporarily, but I'm just guessing.

Nope. The new one will replace the old. There'll still be images available as archives on the forums, wiki, projects, and the Wayback Machine.

Nope. It'd be possible for someone to make another site for sharing Scratch projects with ScratchR, but there won't be anything official.

this is why you download scratch 2.0 and make scratch projects on it and share them >:S you really don't need to jump in the conversation unless you really have a good handle on what it's about ;_;

The 1.x series will still be able to upload to the site. The old site layout won't be available.
