You put this topic in "All about Scratch" when it has nothing to do with scratch.I think this should be moved to "Insparation and More"

I'm sick of ROBLOX on Scratch, scratch is it's own programming language. Though some Scratchers(not me!) like roblox, it is not be talked about on Scratch. I'm no Forum Mod or Scratch Team but here are my reason on why:
Why I think Scratch is way better(let's point out the word "I")
1. Roblox does NOT have an as wide diversity of projects to create
2. You can not create your own graphics, you MUST use the one's avalible from roblox
3. You NEED to download the game to play it, this also can take a very long time
4. Though it has 3D already, you can import 3D images to Scratch(blender etc.)
5. You can NOT make projects on video games/TV/movies/ PC games, because you can't import pictures of them, you must use the roblox characters(or you can create it, but it won't look good).
6. Games can be confusing to play, this is either from the diversity or the author not giving enough information
Reasons why it shouldn't be talked about Scratch(some will be direct to this forum)
1. Scratch is it's own programming language
2. This forum is no way related to scratch, and then ^ point is repeated.
3. Roblox has ads, which may link to commercial sites.
4. I have more.....
Roblox players, please do not take offence.

1. Roblox does NOT have an as wide diversity of projects to create Yes, but not as "projects", but "places" and "models".
2. You can not create your own graphics, you MUST use the one's avalible from roblox You can also upload your own "decals", images you can use in a brick's surface.
3. You NEED to download the game to play it, this also can take a very long time If your connection is slow, yep.
4. Though it has 3D already, you can import 3D images to Scratch(blender etc.) But Scratch can't render 3D files.
5. You can NOT make projects on video games/TV/movies/ PC games, because you can't import pictures of them, you must use the roblox characters(or you can create it, but it won't look good). I've seen some people upload pictures of videogame covers, characters, and other stuff.
6. Games can be confusing to play, this is either from the diversity or the author not giving enough information Agreed.

Good point, I just don't want Roblox players to talk about it on scratch.

Barely even know what it is. I can't decide if I want to find out more or not.

does it matter weither roblox is better or worse then scratch? fact of the matter is that this is a spam topic, and that roblox topics needs to be discussed in inspiration or more!

Oh, is Roblox some kind of programming language like Scratch? Where you make projects? If it is, their company is just trying to copy to make money. This programming language is actually made by MIT itself, so there shouldn't be anything similar to it. Unless it's their OWN programming language that the company made up COMPLETELY THEMSELVES. Like Alice, for example. And the word "project" is also copying Scratch.

"Project" doesn't belong to Scratch. Many people use the word "Project" in programming, and they've used it before Scratch came out in 2007 (or was it 06? I dunno).

ROBLOX isn't a language, but a whole MMORPG. Scratch isn't. And anyway, ROBLOX has it's programming language too - A modified version of Lua. And Lua is way less limited than our Scratch, but a lil' bit harder to use (typed).

Why is everyone using an asterisk?
They added "roblox" to the word filter because of all the spam. (there's ways past the filters, press "quote" to see how I did that.)
But when you type it without any bypassing techniques, you get:
roblox

Wait, so you can curse on here by just putting the word in quotes? Seems kind of easy.

I've tried Alice before. Not quite as versatile as Scratch (even though it is 3D).

I don't understand why is ROBLOX on the filter. I don't see anything wrong with it, other than the spam - but that can be solved moving the threads to Inspiration & More, just like this thread did.
And I don't see that much ROBLOX spam anymore, either. People were spamming at first because of their new Ambassador System (and they were noobish enough to forget that this forum doesn't support HTML coding >_>), which gave them more "tickets" per every link they published.
