Scratch

First things first, if you were a past dev, please reply, if you want to become one, reply!
Rocket (RKT) is a scratch mod.
For now this is all I'm doing, gathering the devs together.

5/11/2012:
Based off BYOB, so it will have the Build A Block option.

Added (Join ◄ ►) block, multi insert join block, unlike other join blocks made using multi insert (such as slash's join block) this block does not add spaces between every insert.

Used the same selector for another block: the ([List^] as text no spaces) same as the ([List^] as text) block only does not put a space between each item.

Made it so both blocks would not be able to show on stage

Found out how to make the Join block automatically have two inserts open when shown in the blocks bin.

After numerous errors, I found that because my join block and my as text no spaces block had the same selector, my script made it so it would try to add a space on the as text block as well as for my join block, so I changed the selector for the text block to concatenate2: and made the code self concatenate: t1


5/12/2012:
Made a change set and made it so all changes would be saved to it.

I found out that because I made the as text no space block have a different selector I needed to add that selector to the list on the reporters which can be shown on the stage. So I did it.

I added the [Run code [ ]] block and the (report code [ ]) block. This makes it so basically RKT not only has BYOB in it, but now you could use only this block in the BYOB editor and practically be using CYOB! (I also remind you that this is not the first mod to do this, Slash had this feature and thats why its on my top 5 list.  )

I added the <all of these < > < > ◄►> block. Basically the and block only has unlimited inserts. I did not however move the < < > and < > > block to obsolete specs simply because when i made the new block have multiple inserts, i had to rename it all of these, rather than, and. (having a <and < > < > ◄►> block would be terribly confusing) But because i changed the wording, people may not recognize it. I used the same thing to make it so in the blocks bin it would have two spaces automatically opened.

I added the <one of these < > < > ◄►> block, its like the or block only with unlimited inserts. I kept the or block for the same reason. I also made it so it would have two slots open.

Moved everything to BYOB 3.1! YAY! Now I can use object insert!

5/17/2012:
Played around with making it so you would log in with your scratch username... it didn't work, lots of errors. Must be mainly because i forgot how to make a custom window... rusty.

also played around trying to make a better system for the clone block, rather than a reporter block, it would have a last cloned block, err something. Another fail...

5/18/2012:
Added a default sprite. YAY!

Added a way to easily change the version number, in the dev menu. Changed the version to 'Alpha 0.1'.

I looked up to make sure i had my version right, the format is:
bigChange.aFewUpdates.bugFix
(1.2.3 would mean its gone through one big change (aka the final release) 2 few new features, and 3 bug fixes.)

5/25/2012
Started working on a make block: coded: block, then noticed there is no reason to bring this back to RKT because we have byob and run code block. XD I just thought of it, but ill delete it next time im on.

Problems to solve:

1. We most likely will need new drop-downs, but the BYOB team used up all of the letters. I need either characters that will work (i might have 2) or a way to make a drop down without that, or, and this is what i rlly want, make it so it works like in panther.
2. I failed to add new categories. I might assign this to PF. (basically ima give the grunt work to someone who hasn't broken 3 computers with his fist because he was angry at his programming efforts.  )
