No, it shan't! I'm going to be showing this off on Scratch Day (May 12th for me).
Can anyone be on during 2-4pm? (Not sure when I'll be showing it off)What time zone? I might be on 12th may 2-4PM in my time (which is (UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Libson, London - according to my PC clock.)
EDIT: But ofcourse i'll be connecting over the actual project
MST (-7) would be the Time Zone, Day Light Savings is also in effect.

Scratch 2.0 would render your server useless!
Not entirely true. I've been talking to the ST about Mesh and Remote Sensors, and I believe they will be available in the full version of Scratch 2.0 since Remote Sensors is required for the WeDo blocks and stuff.
I might make another chat that uses Cloud variables, but that would require some interesting changes to how I would end up coding it since there isn't a central server that the clients connect to and I won't be able to control the Cloud variables and stuff very well since anyone will be able to change the code.

But the code changes would use copies of the variables and lists, I think.

Well, since you are able to edit the project without actually copying it, I would think that it might use the same cloud objects. Though I can see how it would use a copy of the lists to prevent that. Thanks for the reassurance.

Well otherwise there'd be a lot of problems with people messing up others' project so they'd kind of have to do that.

DigiTechs: Try re-joining mesh to scratch.playfultest.tk.
Magnie: I don't think I'll be able to go on later today, conflicting schedule.

Hmm, you are going to the same one as me if I am correct. Will you be bringing a laptop or anything? Cause maybe we can link up for the demo?
No I won't be bringing a laptop. They say they have computers there.

Thank you all that got on! Namely Bobbybee, DigiTech, Nomolos, Ohaider, and Zippynk (even though you were only idling )!
Sorry for ignoring you guys half the time, I was answering questions and showing things. Like how to enable Mesh and I (attempted) to connect through the mirror, but they had a firewall blocking outbound connections from Java.
I completely forgot to show off the browser client, but oh well.
All I can say is the demo was a success! Thanks again!

Yay! I'm listed first . Well, we're all proud of you (but I'm still upset you didn't catch it on video)

Why does bobbybee get to be listed first? I was on the longest
Joking of course...it was an honor to be a part of your demo

Hmm... I wasn't on... must've been a ghost.

Everyone was listed in alphabetic order. So no one was placed "higher" over anyone else.

You can't call it Chat.SB2. I trademarked it.

Did you register the trademark?

I'll probably call it Cloud Chat.
