Says I don't have flash or java installed when I do.

Everytime I go to a project is says I need to install Java/Flash when I have the lastest versions of both installed.
I went on other websites that require flash or java and they work fine, it's just this one.
EDIT: I am using Internet Explorer 8 and when I use firefox it freezes everytime I veiw a project.

Try Google Chrome. It has built-in Flash support.

It works with that but it is extremely slow.

Umm, how old is your computer?
How much RAM do you have?
What processor do you have?
What version on Windows/Mac do you have?

Our computer is three years old and all of our browers run fast except for Google Chrome.
It takes about five minutes just to get to the google homepage in chrome when in firefox and IE8 it takes less than one.
Everything runs slow in it, I can't watch any youtube videos without buffering every thirty seconds, and the only thing that it can usually ever load is text.

Really?
Which version of Chrome are you using?
The computer I use is seven years old and Google Chrome runs much faster than IE or Firefox.
Try redownloading the latest version and reinstalling.

Some computers require tweaking the browser a bit to make loading run faster. And even then there are some things that can make a browser run slower than others. On my computer, I found that my tweaked Firefox browser runs faster than a tweaked Chrome browser because the plug-ins in Chrome made my computer more slow.

@GravityCatisalie: Unfortunately, this is a pretty common problem with IE browsers (for some reason, IE doesn't like the Scratch site very much). Along with the Scratch player being rather heavy, it can cause the browser to run slow or freeze at times. There really isn't much that can be done.  hmm

A similar problem someone had with some Facebook games is posted over here. I dunno if the info in the link will help, but you could try.

Or maybe the CPU is being overworked or is just too slow  tongue
