Just so you know all of you, I believe that it will make scratch a much safer place to be. A lot cleaner, too. All you have to do, is enter your email or your parent's email, to confirm that a) they approve and b) this is truly your email by clicking on a simple link in the email. A simple, yet necessary step the community can take to become spam free. How does this help you? Well, anyone who wants to help maintain a happy, safe, and educational site for everyone, shouldn't have a problem in taking this small step. It's a confirmation, not an email scam.

I support, in a way.
Email confirmation should be something that is strongly recommended and to be done as soon as possible after registration, but it should not be a requirement to sign up.
Furthermore, I would like to stress that multiple accounts per email must be allowed. Of course, there is a slight chance that this will bring in more spam (although it can currently be done anyway, and not much is being seen around anyway), but it poses many advantages.
For the first part, it becomes easier for schools to register accounts for different users without providing different emails, also so the head teacher has some control over student's accounts.
Second, it has perfectly allowed up to present day to have two Scratch accounts. This could change in the future, with online Scratch and no need to test projects, but it can be a pain to have to make a new email just to make a test Scratch account.
tl;dr:
- I support;
- Confirmation should not be a requirement, only recommendation;
- Multiple accounts per email should be allowed.

nothing. Why? what'd they do to you?
It just seems like you don't like them since you're supporting all of these topics that hinder them (like making them not have Scratch Blocks and also this email confirmation)

St because that they are new scratchers doesnt mean that they are new to scratch.
