He didn't listen.
Say you will take him off of the team until he fixes those mistakes,or he will not join ANY of the teams. Not even the one he created.Because he's not being fair, like he won't let anyone else be the leader of the team.Plus,he wants only 4 members, not 5.More the members, more the advantage!
Plus,we can close Team Canada for him and make a new Official Forum (Made by someone else) so it will be more fair. And thank you for setting my thred as an example.

No, we're saying the captain spot has to be fairly elected, not just taken

Usually the Olympics only have 4 members to a team, including the previous Scratch Olympics. You're breaking 3 years of tradition by making it 5. And secondly, it doesn't matter who the captain is, that was more of a joke. The person who makes the team usually is the Captain anyways and it doesn't matter. It's just an empty title.

Look, if the previous Scratch Olympics were meant to be traditional, they wouldn't have been held every year for the past 3 years - it should traditionally be every 4 years, but that clearly isn't the point. The point is I want to make these Scratch Olympics memorable for being different, and for improving on the recent years, so that the competition is allowed to expand rather than having to stay the same due to tradition. Also, I didn't particularly mind the captain bit, it's just that you are missing a lot of vital information from the thread - this Scratch Olympics is different, so you'll have to get yourself familiar with the innovation that the Olympics is meant to inspire. Please check and update this thread as soon as possible. Thanks

It's not innovative if you just change a bunch of things. Having the Scratch Olympics every year is just because it's not the real Olympics. It's just a programming contest that most of its participants forget about anyways. By tradition I meant the tradition of Scratch Olympics throughout the years. What am I supposed to put in it? We haven't got any ideas yet, I'm still trying to find 3 (or 4?) other people, and what's the deal with this double teams from US and Germany thing?

Then what is innovative? When you 'change a bunch of things' every time you hold the Scratch Olympics, then the end result will likely be very different (and a lot better) than the first Scratch Olympics! This, in this way, is a step towards innovation (changing things for the better and coming up with ideas not done before, something I have been doing). And the reason I talked about having the Scratch Oympics every year was to explain that obviously tradition isn't everything - as you said, it's 'just a programming competition', so why can't it be altered for the better, because 'it's not the real Olympics'? And please see the Team USA forum thread for a good example of what to put in this thread. And the double teams are so that everyone is allowed to represent their country, rather than taking that right away from Scratchers (another improvement (innovation?) for this year's Scratch Olympics). Oh, and if this is something 'it(')s participants forget about anyway', then why did you join? I don't care whether this becomes famous across the world - the idea is to have fun. Please change this thread and thanks

Being Innovative is when the ideas are well thought out, which I don't think these are. It could get very confusing with 2 or 3 US Teams and Great Britain Teams and whatnot. By tradition, I meant the tradition of the Scratch Olympics, not the real Olympics. Do you know what happens when a lot of people enter the Olympics in one category for one country? They pick out the 4 (or 5) best of the country to put onto the team, not create several more teams for the country. And the athletes that get rejected do actually go to other countries and represent them a lot. All together, this Scratch Olympics is really messy and doesn't look great either. This is why we usually had other people voted to the task of 'Olympic Games Host'. People with Scratch Experience and people we actually knew. I've never really heard about you before this started (I'm not making that some argument against your being the Host this time around, I heard they weren't so good last Olympic Games either).
I looked at the thread and I still don't know what I'm supposed to be changing the topic to. Could you please explain it instead of just telling me to go somewhere and copying something? Should I copy the entire text of the post? Or what?
