You should only be able to post the forum blocks in Help With Scripts and Suggestions. It's so annoying how literally like 30% of the posts in this thread are blockspam.
You should also disable them for New Scratchers.
EDIT; Allow them in Advanced Topics too. Forgot to include it earlier. ^^'
EDIT2; New Scratchers should them actually.

Also in Advanced Topics, so you can show what type of blocks you want in a mod. Also, I support.

Oh yeah, I forgot about AT. I'll add that in.

I support.

I do NOT support.
I think you should lighten up a little. So there's block spam. Who cares?
I think a little block spam is actually a good thing--it gets people thinking about blocks and scripts. Plus, it gives people a little practice on how to create them on the forum so that when they do have a serious problem they'll know how to express it.

I'd have to say anyone who is interested in keeping scratch a happy and safe place cares. I support. There is a place for testing, you know: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=90403 < that's for testing scratch forum blocks.

Um, no. You don't want New Scratchers as in the people who are new and would be most likely to ask for help and actually need the scratch blocks, to not have them?
It's no different from the old block spam anyways, it's just better looking.

New scratchers are the ones who most need the scratchblocks, so it doesn't make sense to not allow them to use it.

just because they're 'new scratchers' doesnt mean that they are new to scratch.

I don't support. I think it is perfectly fine to use the forum blocks everywhere. As long as the messages in the blocks are relevant to the topic...

Good point...

Okay, I uh sort of forgot about Andres-Vander's point. New Scratchers should have them then. But it is different from the old blocks, in that every single day you see like three posts saying;
when gf clicked repeat until <(timer) > [10]> go to [mouse-pointer v] end think [Scripts in your posts!] for [3] secs

The only thing it does is clutter up the thread, making it annoyingly hard to read.

Anything where they're going to be used like normal.
I see way too much block spam, things completely unrelated to what they're saying.

I definitely agree. Maybe New Scratchers can only post a script in their post 15 times a day? I don't know. I keep seeing something like:
when gf clicked forever if <hi> say <support or not> for <4353532> secs end

Even if they could somehow limit it to 15 times a day, it's not like they would post more than even 5 a day. It's really not that big of a problem. They could be like 5 year olds having a bit of fun, and you don't have to get all mad at them

You can just report them. We usually delete them, unless it's better to mention it in the topic.
