Scratchcraft by Dawgles- Not Legit?

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Dawgles/2201630
Look in the "Download" area.

Now look on any project from the front page's Download area.

Notice how there's no picture with Scratch blocks, nor a 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 sign?
I personally think this means he created it in modified Scratch--
modified to make it easier for him to create it.

So it's not a Scratch Project, yet it's on the Scratch Website.

The same applies with the Mario Kart he made.

So, what's the verdict on this? Is it legit?
Maybe it was modified to allow him to test it in the speed of the online Turbo, offline?

Re: Scratchcraft by Dawgles- Not Legit?

IIRC he made them in a modified version of Scratch that isn't allowed to be discussed on this site, but it doesn't have any changes in functionality and only had graphical changes.

I was going to say, that if you remix the Mario Kart it doesn't show his name under your project...
