Record it.
There is NEVER a scratch day in Canada and I at least want to see what one is like, as I'll probably never get to go to one.

I'd love to see it.

Hipster.
More like trying to stand out from the crowd and failing.

Sounds interesting! How were you planning on broadcasting? Starting up Skype and just letting it run? Editing video on the fly and posting to Youtube? Audio recordings and snapshots in a Scratch project? Something else?
I was at a Scratch Day a few years back and there were a few people trying to cover the event with on the fly Scratch project uploads and that worked out okay. Live feeds might put too much stress on the network at the MIT Media Lab - I'll ask around and see what the people physically at the lab think

I thought he might take a video camera and video parts of it, then upload to YouTube afterwards.

I wasn't thinking live anything, probably editing it all afterwards and posting it on youtube. I might do some quick live notes and pictures, but all videos would be put up later, at my house.

That's what I thought, and it would be most convenient, especially for Scratchers in different time zones. Live streaming would be cool though, if you could work out the technicalities and stuff

So, if you do go, you don't support it?

Thanks for all the comments! I'm definitely going to do this, IF the scratch team says yes. So, keep on sending those supports!

I worded it wrong.
I might be going. But if I can't, this will be good, too. I support both ways.
