The only complaint I have is the vector graphics. Honestly, I like the idea of the bitmap graphics better. It's one of the most unique things about scratch, so things don't look like flash animations.
The Duplicate objects is probably the best feature. I'm so glad that that is going to be the case. It will be a lot more simple to make games this way

Hi everyone,
Scratch Day is a worldwide network of gatherings, where people come together to meet other Scratchers, share projects and experiences, and learn more about Scratch. We hope that you'll be able to attend an event near you (explore the map at http://day.scratch.mit.edu) -- or that you'll celebrate Scratch Day and Scratch's fifth birthday with others in the online community.
As a part of Scratch Day celebrations around the world, the current prototype of Scratch 2.0 will be publicly available from May 17 through May 21 -- and you can check out some of the new features in this preview video.
Just visit alpha.scratch.mit.edu between May 17 and May 21 to explore the current version of the prototype and give feedback about your experiences!
Happy Scratch Day!
Karen, on behalf of the MIT Scratch Team and Scratch Day Team
I tried to the the prototype but it says I need a username and password which I don't know!
Please help me!

Please don’t announce,"Celebrate Scratch Day! Try out the Scratch 2.0 prototype!” when you still have to wait.

It's not open to users, but will be starting May 17th.
