That's the great thing about huge fandoms. They always stick around for a long time.

Agreed, I think it'd be kind of weird to watch these out of order unless you know all the backstory and stuff and I'm really glad I watched them in order.

Many kid's shows are made so you can watch them out of order because of reruns. Of course, you'll miss out on some background information, but it's not like in Avatar (the TV show) where there's one continuous plot and if you miss one, you don't understand what's happening (which is why they show the episode "The Great Divide" so often even though it's not that good - it has no spoilers and can be watched at any time). It's still a good idea to watch them in order, of course.

I read it, but knowing what I was reading going into it had me mentally prepared, so to be honest I just found it funny. Seriously, those puns... the corny humor juxtaposed with the dark nature of the story was intensely funny for some reason.

Yeah, it's being created by bronies that are in high school for a senior project. The first animatic has already been released, and it looks great. Apparently from what was written on the storyboard, Trollestia makes an appearance as well. They said it focuses mainly on Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. The episode was originally planned to be about 22 minutes long, but apparently due to certain circumstances or something the episode may end up being only 14 minutes long. "Double Rainboom" is supposed to be released this Fall.

I'm good at writing stories (or at least that's what my self-confidence is telling me). Maybe I can give a crack at making an MLP fanfiction sometime. Of course, chances are it'll be left only halfway done and I'll eventually lose it. Still, I can try. The main thing I could have trouble with would be capturing the personalities of the characters. I tend to change a character's personality when I write stories. For example, I'm writing a creepypasta about Mr. Sausage Man, but I sort of made him act a bit more irritable than usual.

Anyway, back on topic.
One thing I hope to see soon from the fans would be a rock version of "This Day Aria". According to a poll on Equestria Daily, "This Day Aria" is the most popular song from Season 2 (And perhaps the entire series).

Sorry to ruin your fun-time, bronies, but I need to move this discussion to a different point.


I laugh at the Bronies vs. Brolans arguments. I seriously do. One factor that I think leads to that is the fact that I am neither (though I'd honestly want to side with the Brolans more, so sorry 'bout that).


The thing is, the reason the argument stated is one of the stupidest things about it. "Brolan" was apparently offensive to the Bronies. I guess they thought is was a major case of Rule 58, but so is a lot of Brony material.


MyLittleBrony is the biggest battleground for this, so if you want a good laugh at other's stupidity, go there.

Hell, I recently thought of the idea of making a whole rock opera based on Royal Weeding. All songs from the episode in a rock/metal style (with some influences from Dream Theater's "Octavarium", early Iron Maiden and a bit of classical), plus some others to represent other events on the episode.

...But obviously, I'm too lazy to even start writing up stuff. Actually, are any of you interested? I might get some motivation if I'm not the only one. ;P As Sausagefanclub just mentioned, even a rock arrangement of "This Day Aria" alone would be awesome.
