2 Things- If you look at my projects, to me they look "smudgy". How do i get them to highest quality? Also, how do I give credit to the person who made the project I remixed?

For question 1, I think I might know how to do it. (Not sure if it works, though)
On the scratch program, press compress images. Type in the highest quality image.

If you click "download", make your changes, and then upload the same project, credit will automatically be given beneath the project. Nevertheless, it is usually expected to have mention in the project notes too, usually with a link to the original project.

Don't compress the sounds and images.

the default settings when you upload is compress sounds and images, so first make everything the highest quality then un check the compress sounds and images button

For question number 2, the original project creator's username is already shown under your username.

Write in your project notes "This was based on [username]'s project."
