Here is my idea.
On every page when you are looking at a project there would be an advertise button, when you click it the project would get added to a list, then when someone is looking at your project there would be another section like "More Projects by -----"
called "Advertisements."

there it would show there random projects from that list.
It should not be from your "Favorites" because then as Paddle2See put it

and it might also help with the love-it problem in that people will advertise a project and not give love-its out as a reward.

But the choice of the word "advertisements" makes it seems like an unfitting banner the scratch team put there for financial gain...

well, maybe, but it seems that a thumbnail of a project (which are all around scratch) and the creators username doesn't represent an advertisement for anything other than a project.

i suppose it depends on perspective :3 sarcasm, if you didnt already guess
