My team won big_smile my team's championships are like this (Keep in mind YOU don't get points, but the team does): you get 1 point for each goal, up to three goals. You get 1 point for a shutout, and then 4 points for a win (If the team doesn't have enough players, it is 2 i think for the opposing side.) 0 for a loss. So far, (after 1st game) my team has 9 points! big_smile

Shocking statistic: Paul Scholes, who's like 39 or something, and came back from retirement in January, has scored more league goals than Adam, Downing and Henderson combined.

Thank God Comolli's gone, hopefully Kenny'll be able to sign the players he wants now.

TODAY. WAS. INCREDIBLE.
I play goalie in a 13-17 indoor soccer league. I'm 13. I pwned. My team won 3-2 and I had the best game of my life. I stopped like 15 shots, all of them decent, and a few so close to going in that people had already started to line up for the next kickoff. The first one I was on the opposite side of the net, when the ball got blasted to the other side, but I managed to dive 5 feet, all in the air, to catch the ball. The next one there were three of the opponents players within 5 feet of the goal and one of them had possession, and we only had one defender. They crossed it, but bobbled it against my defender, and where about to shoot it in when he got a toe on it, and I managed to dive in and grab the ball. We opponents were so confused on what happened one tripped on his feet and flew into the goal. There's this rule in our league if a team has 6 fouls, the opponents get the ball at the defensive line and only one person can be on it, everyone else has to be on the opposite half of the field. The opponents got one of these, and he was dribbling it up when I managed to dive through and get the ball, just as my coach was saying to not worry about getting scored on. The entire field was quiet for a second, and then everyone started screaming. After the game, you should have seen our celebrations. They were so intense, the entire team mobbed at half field and started screaming our heads of. It was so much fun big_smile

sorry man, if I offended you. It's just funny to me. my team won yesterday tongue . 3-0. using my league's counting scorer, we got 10/10 possibe points. 3 goals (1 for each up to three) 6 for a win, and 1 for a shutout.
