I don't get what the deal is about people not watching episodes of shows in order. How can you watch the later episodes when you missed a bunch of plot points?
Agreed, I think it'd be kind of weird to watch these out of order unless you know all the backstory and stuff and I'm really glad I watched them in order.

The continuity between the episodes is pretty loose. While it would be a good idea to watch them in order, it's a bit too late for me to do that now.
It's not gonna get me confused though. I'll see them all eventually anyway. And I'll always be able to re-watch the series in order.

All I can say is...PONIES!

Anyone doing the brony challenge thing?
Watching every episode all in one go, you can only get up to go to the toilet or get a drink and you can't skip the into/outro.
I would do it, but I'd rather have more people to do it with.

52 episodes, each about 30 minutes long...
That's 26 hours in a row of MLP.
I could never do that...

Actually it's less than twenty hours, because each is only 22 minutes.

Only if the Hub played one show for than 19 hours XD
Obviously they're going to be watching it on the computer (mlp-fim.com has a continuous play option).

Better than that.
Take three gallons of water, a couple bags of chips, and your laptop into the bathroom.

Yeah so you don't need to get up/pause it to use the restroom

Yeah but what will people think if you spend a day in the washroom with a laptop?

If you're seriously considering doing that, then you've probably gone past caring what others think.

Even better, use one of those Camelback things so you can keep watching while drinking (it's like a backpack full of water with a straw that reaches around to your face). And get blended soups as food (like split pea or gazpachos, or, if you're being fancy, vichysoisse).
Edit: you can put the soups in those helmets that have soda cans and straws, but fill the cans with soup. Only if you do that then your number twos will be really gross.

or just get several bowls of soup and put them on heating pads until your ready to eat them. When you're going to eat them, you will stick a long twisty straw into the bowl. Except you can't do this with soup that has a lot of stuff in it.

But then you'd have to look away from the screen.
(I take this very seriously)

It's little children like you that make me question the world today.
Also, MLP isn't really for kids. Theres a Big-Lebowski refference in it, and that's an R rated film full of profanity. It's the creator's way of saying thanks to all of the bronies.
Of course, the show still has to be slightly educational, otherwise it might not reach its main target audience. If it doesn't reach the target audience, they may be forced to shut the show down.
...and nopony wants that to happen anytime soon.
My one fear is that MLP:FIM will end up like Spongebob did.
If MLP was cancelled, you know what the bronies would do? Ikd, but it'd be something to make em' put it back on 4 sure.
Offline
If FiM was suddenly cancelled (and it eventually will be, nothing lasts forever), I'm pretty sure the brony community (which is pretty huge and widespread by now) will keep writing fan fiction, making comics and art to continue what the series left us in their own way.
