Hiding/Showing Variables

Variables only show up on the online version of a game if they are visible while the project is being uploaded. I'm sure someone else has already mentioned this. Could be a limitation with the applet?

Re: Hiding/Showing Variables

This is a common bug and has been reported multiple times before....  sad  Sadly I do not know what is causing it.

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: Hiding/Showing Variables

try to upload the game showing all the variables (stop, start, stop, upload)
, then after the user click the flag hide them, doing that way you will be able to show them again.

i had this problem when uploading the game in the middle of the testing. so the variables were not visibles, so i stop the game at one point where thy are visibles, the upload that way and it works.
hope this helps.

Re: Hiding/Showing Variables

It's an annoying problem but all you have to do is make all the variables show when you upload the project, and then put in a script to hide the ones you don't want showing when the green flag is clicked.

It can be quite annoying because it can look bad if there are a lot of variables on the screen at the start and you need to hide them.
