Max Signature Setting
I think there should be an increased limit to 250 pixels on signatures, however, in your profile page, you could have a setting that allows you to set maximum signature height. If someone puts up a signature that exceeds this height, it is cut off when you view it. The default would be 150. This way we could make our signatures taller, but Scratchers would have the option not to view them. Signature owners, however, would have to be careful because they know if they make their sig too tall, many Scratchers may not see it all. The range for this setting could be 50-250.

Noone would set it to be more than 150 though, it'd make the thread impossible to read. And it'd be pointless to implement if noone's gonna use/need it.

How can signatures be off-topic? There isn't a topic to start with. 
You can set it to 0 though. Just check "Don't show users' signatures" in Profile>Display.

Yeah, i think if they do it people should have an option to turn off viewing too-big signatures in the settings. speaking of signatures, mine is pretty awesome, yeah? hmmmm...yesss.....maybe.....definitely?
