Could somebody port forward for me?

Sorry, I don't know much about it, and I don't know if it's even possible or not, but if you can could you port forward for me? Then just give me the ip. I'd like to setup a non-hamachi server, so more people would join. Thanks. Also,

DON'T TELL ME TOO DO IT BECAUSE IT WON'T WORK FOR ME..

Thank you.

Tell me 3 things and I will help you (if I can):
What game are you port-forwading for?
What OS are you using?
What model number is your router?

Re: Could somebody port forward for me?

It's impossible to port forward someone else's router.

Ask me what I'm doing, wait an hour than roll a die, if it's 4-6, I'm playing Skyrim, if it's 1, I'm eating, if it's 2-3 I'm programming.

No need to yell.  hmm
And besides, someone else can't port forward for you. It would be completely insecure.

The OS shouldn't matter

Yes, because you need to know the internal IP and how you find it depends on the OS.  wink

yes but your router ip is what you need to know which is something 192.168.1.x

try 1-9 in the place of the x and one of them should open up your router settings and then you need to input your admin username and pass. (which should be on the back of the router) (or try admin for both of them)

No, you also need to know your local IP to then assign the external IP to the internal one (well, some routers require that).

Yeah, you generally need that, but otherwise the OS isn't important.  smile

And I hate to break it to you WindowsExplorer, but you're basically asking someone to host a server for you. I don't think you're going to find someone willing to do that. We can try to help step you through port forwarding (it's actually really simple) but that's probably the most help you'll get for free.

Re: Could somebody port forward for me?

I can't do it for you, but if you host a join.me I could help you, and possibly do it a lot for you.

Fax a cable to players.

Huh, port forwarding. I've heard it's simple with Hamachi, but I haven't actually tried that.

Mod note: Changed the link to a direct image link. That specific comic is fine for Scratch, but not everything on xkcd is.
