Project Thumbnails

Hello,
I was wondering how I could decide the image for a projects "thumbnail" or "display image" for a project. (The ones that you see when you search projects)

I've tried putting thing image I wanted to be the thumbnail on top and stay up for 1 second, but it still won't let me have that thumbnail.

Does anyone know a method of getting the thumbnail you want for your project when you save it?

Thanks,

Re: Project Thumbnails

The thumbnail is whatever is on the screen in the moment it gets uploaded. You can put up an image that hides when the flag is clicked.

However, please don't fool users into thinking it's a better game than it actually is, just because the thumbnail is different and more appealing!  smile

Unforgivably it seems you are incorrect and that you have not read my post correctly. I said that I DID do that it as I wanted it and made the image appear for 1 second after the green flag is clicked too.

It just doesn't show what is on the screen, get uploaded. It seems to be random  neutral

Is there any method?

Could you give us a link to the project with that problem? It's hard to tell what's wrong without knowing which project has an issue with its thumbnail.

Re: Project Thumbnails

I found why it was not working.

It was because I was trying to update the project with a new thumbnail, which you cannot do. So I re-made my place and it worked.
