There should be some type of way you can use flash when a project is downloaded, not just when its on the website.
That, my friend, is a brilliant idea! There should be a downloaded flash. Although Scratch 2.0 will be online anyway...
WHAT!?!?! Why does it have to be ONLINE??? Most of the time I program in scratch, I don't have an internet connection! Do you have any more information about scratch 2.0? Cause I know like nothing about it...

There will be an offline version, at least for Mac and Windows.
I'm not sure about linux, since flash doesn't compile for linux except for online as far as I know.

Yeah, I think, but I don't think you'll need the flash plugin on your computer to run it, just scratch.

For my Laptop, java is always a bit glitchy and i am sure that is the case for other computers. All flash games work fine, and this is a good way of removing the errors for e.g the games work faster, fullscreen, better sound quality. a good addition

I really think it should be available for non-members! I was going to show one of my projects to my teacher, but it didn't work at all in java.

Your free to create another account specifically designed for that purpose.

Or just ask your teacher to create an account, it's super easy.

*** I SUPPORT ***
Many people simply dont like it to login everywhere and study TOS before.
I´d like to tell more people about Scratch,
in some cases impossible with this Java only artificial restriction.

I don't seem to find any problems at all with the new Flash Player. I think it works much more fluently, and effectively. Although, sometimes it keeps switching back to the old Flash Player, which is quite irritating. Despite this, I think Flash Player is perfectly fine.
