Re: NES/SNES Game Recommendations

Try Kid Icarus. It's impossible, but it's really good.

If you want something to do while Scratch is down, check out tbgs.tk! It's the new version of the (closed) Scratch TBGS, run by Scratchers! I'm going to spend most of my time there, anyway.

Re: NES/SNES Game Recommendations

I know how you can play EarthBound without paying anything.

Play it on Retro Uprising.

That's what I did and I'm already near the end of the game.

Re: NES/SNES Game Recommendations

WOW! Not much people have mentioned Super Metroid, said to be the best SNES game ever! (even though it didn't sell well)

I'm warning you; the final boss is quite scary (Not scary to me, but it seems to have scared several others).

I have never found him scary, and I never will.

However, as a villain, he is the best by far.

Quite true.
The bosses in the MOTHER series have always been quite memorable.

You should get Super Mario RPG, and Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World (It's tough to find, but it's out there!). It's 5 games in one! One of my friends gave me both of them for free. Somehow I managed to get my hands on Earthbound way back, and let me tell you, it's great (But Mother 3 was much better). It's crazy how expensive it is now. Did you know that once the BOX for the game (without the actual game in it) was once sold on E-bay for about $200?

That game made me cry.  sad

In the orginal ending, err...So much stuff happened to someone that when he beat the final boss and did the thing, the opposite thing happened that you thought would happen.

Yeah, ikr?
Quite unexpected. But move around in the ending screen to see the real final ending.

btw, has anyone here heard about the fan-made Mother 4 project? It's amazing.

Mother 4... is going to be epic... when I get the patch... after I die... because it never will come out... or WILL IT?!

Did you guys here of the Mint condition EB copy that sold for $20,000?

No, it's not. Superman 64 is terrible.

So is Mario's early years.

How     are     you      supposed     to     understand   the     characters'     voices  when    the    words     are    seperated   and    doesn't    sound    like     normal     speech?
