Ok, who broke rules -1 and -2? /46/ is a risk here, guys!

@16Skittles: I'm pretty sure there's an actual /m/ board. /46/ is better.

Oh god, imagine if Anon saw what we were doing here. Good thing we're an internet minority.

Cheers, /46/zygys. (ask me what that means, if you like)

EDIT: 50re get.

What is the /m/ board anyway? We can talk about that, and we haven't really broken rule number one unless it is a "voldemort" like thing. :3

/m/ = Mecha. Basically another anime topic.

Re: oh man

Okay, this made me think a little bit, but apparently what they're trying to raise is a debate if a game company can release more adult games if it is generally E rated. I mean, really? It's not like they're forcing everyone who enjoys Nintendo to play all their games. Them releasing something, as long as it has a decent age recommendation from the ESRB, is fine and will no way damage the quality of other games.

Gosh. Human stupidity knows no bounds. And there's two days in a row I've had to say that. I'm still not entirely sure why me using that line doesn't occur every day.

common sense media is way too hard on things...  and too ignorant. in sonic the movie sonic does the finger twice, but it's not included in the review, they then hate Skyrim. they probably hate puppies.

that paragraph (about whether or not nintendo should be allowed to make non-E rated games) is probably the funniest on the website

lol I kinda felt like a rebel while reading that.  tongue

This is a great site. However, lots of personal information is shared, like pictures of yourself or your kids and ages and names. I've even seen people on the forums discussing where they live. Make sure to talk with your child about safety.

^WHAT THE...

If people are THAT stupid they can go reveal their personal info anywhere on the Internet. It isn't like MIT is leaking their personal info that the user thought was safe. THAT would be a security risk. Better yet, don't go outside either. If you go outside, you may tell some random stranger your credit card and social security number. Being outside is a security risk too.

Really. If you specifically tell someone your address, that is YOUR fault. It isn't their fault. They didn't force you to tell them.

No. Seriously. Be Bob. Dont go outside.

It's true.

I've been around on the froums since '08 (and made my account in '07) and I've seen a lot.
I was here when FloatingMagicTree was a noob.
I was here when RHY joined the site.

I've been here a long time, and I've seen a lot, from pony invasions, to, some, um, stuff only mods should see (and don't like to see). (on accident)

I've seen all of this shared in Misc, and then collected in one thread.

If I had the time, I'd scan Misc and get all the information I can, then I just need to find your address. That's easy, get your state phonebook, and then type in the number on a cellphone tracking website, which will locate your phone, and, most scary of all, you.

I'd go through all the (insert first name here)'s until I find you. Wouldn't be that hard.

Of course, Misc doesn't exist anymore, so you couldn't scan it. Your plan is foiled.

Also, on the Portal page, I found this:

GlaDOS is evil
The only problom with this game is GLaDOS. She trys to kill you.

GLaDOS certainly does not make the game worse. In fact, she makes it better.

You can scan it easily. The Misc still exists, it's just been hidden.

No, Skyrim is pretty bad... But Angry Birds? Are you kidding me? It's a green pig that turns into a cloud. That is not going to cause Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome or something.

Skyrim is NOT bad...

The problem with parents (and legislators of SOPA, etc.) trying to control what goes on is that all of those people are old (relatively) and did not grow up with computers as we know them today. I bet for sure that my parents couldn't figure out how to set up any sort of server without me walking them through it (and even then) while kids like us just know it naturally. Think of moot. He created 4Chan (one of the largest imageboards in the world) when he was only fifteen years old!

well angry birds is unfair to be treated like that but

skyrim IS pretty bad

but i'm a not-18-yet girl who plays it and i don't want to go out attacking people or anything like that seriously

i think as long as they know how to treat it even young kids can handle "mature" stuff

Well, Skyrim isn't that bad... It's violent, yes. However, there is little human vs. human violence (as far as I know, mostly monsters and stuff), and you won't be getting called bad words by nine year olds via voice chat.
