To get a signature, you need the "Scratcher" rank - just be active and helpful on both the forums and the main site, and you'll get there eventually.

To become a Scratcher, you must be active on both the main site and the forums, have at least three projects, and have registered for at least one month.
To get more friends, I suggest you view other people's projects and comment nicely on them, regularly.

I beleve they made it more because they need to trust you that's why they have this New Scratcher rank. I can hardly wait to be a Scratcher
