(Slightly) Official telescopes thread

Anyone who has a telescope or even binoculars, Tell me what you saw recently in the sky. I saw the moon recently. What about you?

lol, we do have two of them: "Making and Creating" and "Reading and Playing".  tongue

But nathanprocks is right, looking through telescopes isn't something that you're making or creating; hobbies that don't create things, like sports or stamp collecting falls better into the "Reading and Playing" category. Your topic is astronomy, yes? So I'll move it to 'Reading and Playing".  smile

I dug out my meade telestar and i switched it on and it was on for 5 minutes then it switched off. Little did i know the batteries had leaked but it was dried so no harm to the battery compartment XD
