In scratch 2.0, they said it will use flash for the editor.
Then how will it handle right clicks for menus?
Just an idea...
I'm pretty sure flash can do right clicks... There must be some way, cause I know tons of things are made in flash, and it would be really odd if it couldn't use right clicks.

According to my source (*cough* veggie *cough*)
ye olde pre-alpha (the Scratch 2.0 pre-alpha) uses shift-click as a replacement for right-click

That it does, general! I don't know if they've changed it since then though.

I hate the way flash deals with things. In my opinion, by creating it in flash, they've just ruined the entire program. I hope i will be able to use 1.4 to upload projects, because i may stay with that.

But I want right click because it's easier

It might be easier for the user, but it's much harder to program. They have to find a balance between good usability and not going crazy striving for perfection.

Look up flash applets in google! They dont use the applet tag, but the object is considered an applet

Are you allowed to share pre-alpha? I would really like to try it out... If not, could you answer some of my questions about it?
Don't worry, if you aren't allowed to share it I won't keep asking or anything.

The fact that some people call them applets doesn't make them applets. I see nothing official that refers to this.
