Is it? I've been thinking about getting one but it's a lot of money and I don't know if it's worth it.

I vote yes, it's worth it. There are just so many things to do with it.

Ok, that's one person, but I still need some more people to see if it's worth getting.

Well, I haven't used mine in a while...but I had a lot of fun playing around with it when I first got it. I made some custom game controllers out of light switches and used them to control a tank project...pretty cool! I also figured out how to get temperature readings from thermistors.
There are a ton of potential applications if you like to do science fair projects or just mess around with electronics. With the resistance ports and lists, you can set up all kinds of data gathering projects.
I've always had a strong interest in electronics and interacting with the real world so you can probably tell that I think the board is worth the price. I hope that helps.

A Scratch board (now Pico board) allows you to use things besides a keyboard to impact what happens in a Scratch project. It plugs into a USB port and has sensors that react to sound, electrical resistance, and light. It also has a push button and a slider.
