I am hosting the Scratch Olympics 2012, which shall celebrate the London 2012 Olympics currently being organised.
I will host challenges that test the abilities of [Programming, Graphics, and Project Design] over a period of time.
I will give out challenges each week that test each ability. There will be at least four teams with five members each. Projects are scored on this behalf

Platinum is worth 10 ranks,Gold is worth 3 ranks, silver 2, and bronze 1. Notice that you can't achieve a platinum in any of the subcategories - winning overall in a challenge is the most important factor, although winning in subcategories can also boost your rank. There will be a gallery into which you will submit your entries for each challenge. The results for each challenge will be given in 'awards ceremony' style projects, the link to which will be posted after each challenge is complete. The team with the highest rank at the end of the Scratch Olympics is declared champion for 2012!
