Timezones not working

Everytime I change my time zone, it still goes to the same -5 EST time.

Why isn't it working? (BTW: I know that the time is wrong for me.)

Re: Timezones not working

It doesn't work.

It's been a bug on the forums for ages  smile  We call -5 EST "Scratch Time."

Re: Timezones not working

This probably is a limitation.

Re: Timezones not working

Basically, the time zone change is not supported by PHP. Or, maybe it's supposed to be like that.

Re: Timezones not working

Think about it. This isn't actually a bug. MIT stands for "Massachusetts Institute of Technology" Of course, Massachusetts is in The Eastern Time Zone (aka Scratch Time). So, as a result, the Forums renders times in that time zone.

Re: Timezones not working

i like it, it means you can say to somebody else 'come online at 7:00' and you don't have to calculate it afterwards
