The good ol' days

remember the good ol' days on scratch when:

bosox just got popular
Hamster RPG didn't exist
Scratch TV was the most popular thing on the web
Delocuro didn't go around causing wars
MOPS existed
M44 and bosox conquered the front page
no one knew about Golfer3
people actually knew about zelda123

add on with you own lists

Remember folks...we want to keep Scratch a friendly place.  It seems to me that a couple of these are not the way that friends should talk about each other unless they are trying to start a fight.  And good friends don't try and start fights.  Thanks and Scratch On!

Re: The good ol' days

Go back further and thats when my projects were always on the frontpage. I remember once that every top project was one of mine.

I think the best thing about the old days was canthiar and his awesome projects.

But I think that scratch projects can go a lot further now then before. Each new version of scratch opens up a ton of new possibilities.

Re: The good ol' days

I'm not entirely sure about this thread.  hmm
You see, it doesn't really matter if your project is featured or not—the point is to have fun!

Wow I remember all of that. Zelda123 is an amazing scratcher. Hehe you used my name.

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201

Guys, "Zelda123" is still here—he or she is on the "Tug Of War" thread.
Just incase you didn't know...  smile

Re: The good ol' days

Well...
When I was a young lad (a year ago, I guess I wasn't "a young lad") was when I first joined...

I don't remember anything, really.
Except Tsunami_Enterprises, but I don't really think you can call that a "good ol' day".
Hmmmm...
I was semi-famous back then. That was good.
I miss a lot of the old Scratchers who rarely - or don't - go on anymore. I realise a lot of them have returned.
Back when we didn't have "Text Games" or "Inspiration and More" or "Scratch Day 2009" or "Scratch @ MIT Conference 2009" or "Sensor Boards". *sigh*.

You're right, every new version of Scratch is always better! So then the projects get better! Even though Scratch isn't 3D, you can still make amazing projects!  smile  That's why I love Scratch. It's easy to use, MUCH easier than real programming, and my goal is to make loads of project on Scratch and be popular in a good way with everybody! Scratch is better than anything else on the computer!  smile

You can't become BFFs with someone online unless you have absolutely no friends/life.

I read all those old threads and felt like hugging you for it before common sense kicked in.
