I've learned this: You've got nothing but a few pictures of what I think are spiders. Should I get started on a character base in pixel art style?
Also, what type of game is it? Top-down RPG, shooter, animation? It is a type of scroller game, but here is the plot:
There is this dark guy who stoll the princess, and now we have to go and save the princess by going through multiple levels and avoding spiders and spikes and lava.
Right now borrego is working on the main menu, and after that, we will work on creating each level.
So it's a Mario rip-off?
If so, I can just recolor some mario sprites.
Well, see you tomorrow, I have to sleep. It's already 10:40.

erm no, you cannot just recolour mario sprites. Mario never had a unique story, in fact, it is pretty much the same as Zelda, Old Folk stories and even films like Star Wars (a sci-fi fantasy where the princess must be saved from the clutches of evil) So it is not a rip off at all, it is the recreation of a classic story used somehow in pretty much every film and game out there which involved the villain taking something, so it's not just from the mario series.

What are you good at in the Scratch community: I can rip, edit, and animate pixel art.
Please put a project by you: Order of Camelot: Text Base and Background
Also, KAJ is a name, spelled backwards, with one letter omitted. Jack.
kaj in not just a name check it out here http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Kaj

still sorting out some glitches with the stick man. which is better? you finish the stick man glitches whilst i start the menu, or you do the menu and i finish the stick man? i never realised the stick man would have so many problems, and I didn't want to give you a glitchy character so I spent my time sorting him out instead. I'm trying my best to get rid of the double-vision, and also improving the jumping physics. Sorry if you expected the menu done by now, but I thought the stick man should have higher priorities.
sorry!

hey! I bet you'd love to see the 9 games that I made nearly 2 years ago! If you've got power-point 2010 they'll work better.
this is where I'm basing the graphic style and controls from. it's also where I first created the character "Grolig" among other things. If you check out the other links, you'll find my skateboard madness games!
The AoS
I did hesitate to give you my stick-man engine because originally I wanted to use him for the remake of these games, which are precious to me because I spent so long on them and they were my first ever games. The skateboard games were made quite a while after. They may look like nothing but to me they hold many memories.
I'd suggest you read the little descriptions above the projects, so that you only play the ones with the most features. Level 1 is boring, level 2 is very lagging and plain, level 3 is EPIC! Whilst the flying bit is not too good, the boss battle is amazing! Level 4 is al-right, as you have to try and complete the level in the dark. The ocean temple is al-right too, with various mini-games, but nothing exciting. The bonus level was an old beta of the skateboard. When I made the skateboard madness series later on I changed the engine completely.
AoS 2 was never finished, and I was hoping to remake it for scratch.
Also, don't forget to give me the password on one of my projects! Otherwise I can't upload the engine onto "our" account!

no! it's only for you to enjoy! i thought we were going for the "save the princess" idea

well why else would i make the engine? you don;t have to use it, but that's why i gave it so much priority over the menu design. to be honest, it might be better if you make your own as you'll probably struggle to incorporate it into the game without fully understanding it. hopefully it will help inspire you to make a new engine.
THIS IS MY LAST POST! BYE. I was meant to leave on sunday

Okay.
But, do you want to get started on another project. Like a minecraft type project.

if you want, I'll take over AoS 2 as my own project, and your team can get on with your minecraft? don;t worry, i won;t need to give credit to your team because I'll be making my own health system.
